Using Editor’s ToolKit Plus

 

When you first begin using Editor’s ToolKit Plus, you’ll notice the new Editor’s ToolKit and ETKPlus menus at the top of your screen. These menus include the Editor’s ToolKit Plus features as well as certain built-in Microsoft Word features that are useful for editing. You’ll also notice that some new commands have been added to Word’s menus, and many of the function keys have new functions. All of these commands and functions are explained in this documentation.

Closing Editor’s ToolKit Plus

 

If you need to close Editor’s ToolKit Plus and restore Word to its original “general user” configuration, click the Editor’s ToolKit menu and then click “Close Editor’s ToolKit Plus.”

Restarting Editor’s ToolKit Plus

 

To restart Editor’s ToolKit Plus:

In Word 6 or 7, click the File menu at the top of your screen, click “Templates,” and click (check) the box next to ETKPLUS.DOT. Then click OK.

In Word 97 or 98, click the Tools menu at the top of your screen, click “Templates and Add-ins,” and click (check) the box next to ETKPLUS.DOT. Then click OK.
